Privacy Policy

Kyun does not disclose any customer information to anyone outside of Kyun unless required by law or approved by the customer beforehand.

We do not encrypt your drives (why?), however you are free and encouraged to encrypt sensitive data yourself.

Kyun does not check or modify the data on your server’s disk without explicit permission (unless we are legally forced to), but may check public services hosted from your service when alerted, such as FTP/HTTP servers.

Data We Store

We only store data essential for providing and improving our services, ensuring security, and complying with legal obligations. This includes:

Account Information:

  • A securely hashed password (argon2), and any contact details you provide (like Email addresses, Matrix usernames or Telegram IDs).
  • Your Stripe Customer ID, if you link a card.

Services & User-Generated Data:

  • The data you store on your services (e.g. Danbo, Bricks).
  • Configuration details for your services, such as assigned IP addresses (including a history of past assignments), subdomains, and authorized SSH keys.

Transactional Data:

  • A history of your transactions, payments, service renewals, and account credit changes. For card payments, this includes a Stripe invoice ID. For Monero deposits, we store the details needed to confirm the payment.

Live Chat

Live Chat, as described in the Terms of Service, allows you to chat with our support team.

Except for Abuse Reports, you can delete any chat, which will delete all metadata and messages associated with it.

By default, messages for a given chat session are sent to a third-party LLM provider to enable Kyoko, our AI assistant.

We have only chosen LLM providers that, to our knowledge, do not log messages. For full privacy, you can enable Ultra Private Mode.

Enabling Ultra Private Mode for a chat session ensures the messages in that session are only accessible by Kyun, and do not leave our servers.

Card Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. The data Stripe collects is subject to their privacy policy. Your billing details will only be used by Kyun for accounting purposes.

Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies (‘localStorage’) required for essential website functionality, such as keeping you logged in. We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics.

If you are an active customer, you will receive at least 7 days of notice before any significant changes to this document go into effect.

"My son is three years old, and we've been trying to potty train him for a while now. Unfortunately, we've hit a major roadblock - his fear of the "skibidi toilet" You might be wondering what a "skibidi toilet" is, and honestly, I had no idea either until we encountered it. Fron what I've gathered, "skibidi toilet" is basically a new genre of youtube video about evil singing toilets. Basically think zombies but instead they're toilets that sing in your face. I was fine to let my son watch the videos at first, as they seemed innocent enough and fairly harmless, but they soon devolved into strange post apocalyptic material with grotesque toilets fighting in a war against mankind, so I finally intervened and cut him off. I thought that was the end of it, he can't watch the videos anymore so theres nothing to be afraid of. Well, I was wrong. This has since turned into a complete nightmare for us at home. We recently started potty training and he refuses to use the toilet now due to skibidi toilet. Whenever we try to put him on it he screams and refuses to go anywhere near it. We've tried explaining that skibidi toilet isnt real and our toilet is completely safe, but it seems like it's too overwhelming for him. We even let him decorate it with stickers, hoping it would make him less afraid, but no luck so far. It utterly breaks my heart to see him so anxious about such a simple thing that every child goes through. I'm not sure how to proceed from here. Should we give him more time and hope that he warms to the toilet, or is it better to try a completely different approach? I know every child is different, but has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you deal with skibidi toilet in your household, if you encountered it?"
